What we expect:

Cleaning and sanitation, Crush pad receiving and processing, Equipment operation - destemmer, must pump, press, etc., Forklift operation, Pumpovers and punchdowns, Additions and inoculations, Barrel work (filling, stirring, topping).

High standards for reliability and quality of work, Previous harvest experience, Formal education in enology / viticulture, Interest in winemaking as a career, Excellent organization and time management skills, Ability to follow written instructions, Willingness to work extended hours when needed.

Able to:

We are seeking a couple of full-time seasonal winemaking interns to join our cellar production staff for the 2024 harvest. Candidates with prior harvest and/or forklift experience are encouraged to apply. Prior harvest and forklift experience is not a requirement, though a genuine interest in learning about wine is

• Vineyard sampling • Running crush equipment and sorting fruit Forklift operation. In house certification and training provided

About this role:
We are looking for hardworking, energetic, wine loving and interns for our 2022 harvest season.
Interns will receive a well-rounded experience with plenty of winemaking education.
Seasoned harvest veterans and first-timers are both welcome, although we would love to have team mates that have an interest and passion for expanding their knowledge and experience in the wine business. This position runs from late August to mid-November. The winery is in Santa Maria, CA, 1 hour from Santa Barbara, 40 minutes from San Luis Obispo.

About this role:
We are currently recruiting for a Wine Club Ambassador who will act as the 'face of wine club' (spokesperson & concierge) for consumers as well as the wine club champion & leader at the site, supporting the management and implement of core on-site wine club functions - including relationship management, acquisition programs, retention efforts, and customer service - that helps drive club growth and maintain the overall 'health' of wine club.

What We Expect:
- You have three years administrative experience; two years successful experience in customer service /sales experience and dealing with the public
- You have one to two years of wine industry/and or wine club experience highly desirable but not required
- You have first class customer service skills and a thirst for staying current in the ever-changing wine industry.
- Your hospitality skills are an absolute must, as our guests and wine club members are the priority in this position.
- You must be able to present an encouraging, professional, and optimistic attitude at all times and under all circumstances.
- You can convey valuable wine education and lively discussion through the presentation of current release wines and our story to new and returning visitors.
- You must be able to lift 40 lbs. (a case of wine)

Cellar Assistant (Full time/ Year Round) Adelscheim Vineyards (Newberg, OR USA)

About this role:
We are looking for a full-time cellar assistant to join us. This position reports to the Production Winemaker and works closely with the entire winemaking staff to produce exceptional wines.

What we expect:
• 1+ years cellar experience
• Strong leadership capabilities and communication skills
• Able to accurately complete work instructions, and to work both individually and in a team
• Familiarity with Vintrace or other winemaking software is a plus
• Flexible and willing to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends and to assist with various consumer events
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Up to date forklift certification
