We are offering a position as CELLAR HAND for the upcoming harvest September / October 2026.
Weingut Wurm is an award winning small scale boutique winery cultivating 8 ha of steep slope, slate dominated Riesling and Pinot Noir vineyards.
We are located in the beautiful Rheingau Region (1h away from Frankfurt, Germany) close to ‘Geisenheim University’.
For the upcoming harvest we are offering a position as cellar hand.
Main tasks will be:

Grape reception and press operations

Juice racking, inoculations and additions

Cellar hygiene and sanitation

Fermentation checks and basic lab work

Lees Filtration
-
Tanks filling and topping
Needless to say harvesting days can be very demanding thus we are looking for a person with high work ethics, reasonal physical fitness and a good sense of humor to perfectly fit into our small team. Some harvest work experience would be useful.
We are offering an interesting position with high personal responsibility, flexible working hours covering all aspects of winemaking. We welcome your ideas and encourage you to integrate them into daily business. We speak German, English and Spanish.
You should be ready to start by September 15th, 2026 latest. The main harvesting persiod will be until Mid October.
A work extension on a flexible part time basis until March 2027 is possible and appreciated.
